This year come to the GHCSL All-Star Game ready to worship and experience the blessings of live music performed by"Bound Hearts" and "Not Your Dog". These two local Christian groups have joined their talents on a couple of other occasions and are not to be missed!!! Their original music is an uplifting experience of personal sharing and joyful sound reaching out to all who hear them perform. See you there!

I will be asking coaches for all-star game participants this week! Please let your coach know if you are interested in playing or competing in a skill competition. If you are not playing or participating, please come to cheer on your players and enjoy the music and potluck. See you there!

Hey Commish-
Did you create this web site? If so, how much would you charge me to develop one for my company?
Thank you,
Wendell

Are you referring to the main GHCSL website or this message forum site? In either case, I did not create them from scratch but rather use a template to put together the design of the sites. For example, you will see many other message forum sites that have a similar format to ours based on the template used. But there is logo design, account management, file transfer, and content management that go into both sites. I'd be happy to discuss this with you and see if I can help you out. My brother is a web designer so if you are interested in something a little more professional than I could steer you in that direction. So there would be a few options. Shoot me an e-mail to commish@ghcsl.org with some additional info, thanks!

The All-Star festivities were held today and what a great time it was! Thank you to our musicians for their enthusiasm and time dedicated. Thanks to all who brought food for the potluck. Here is a recap of the events:
Pitching Competition: Champion- Steve Roddy, Believers Fellowship Halos, 5/8 round 1, 4/5 final round Runner up- Randy Stearnes, Chapel Hill Hilltoppers, 5/8 round 1, 3/5 final round
Home Run Derby: Champion- Mike Stelle, Harbor Covenant Kangaroos, 1 HR round 1, 3 HR final round Runner up- Scott Ginnis, Harbor Covenant Kangaroos, 4 HR round 1, 2 HR final round
All-Star Game: Red team coached by Rob Floberg, BF Halos defeats Blue team coached by Chris Johnson, HC Kangaroos by a score of 15-13. The game started off lop-sided with the Red team jumping out to a 10-0 and later 14-1 lead! But the Blue team decided that they did not want to be embarrassed on this day and fought back hard by holding the Red team to only 1 more run over the final 5 innings. In the bottom of the 9th, the Blue team was down by 3 with 2 outs and it appeared the game would end with an out at home plate but yours truly could not hold on to the great throw from the outfield. Now down 2 with 2 runners on, a hard liner was hit towards 3rd base and Dan from Fox Island Alliance dove for the game winning catch! It was a great game.
Red team: Rob, Jesse, Dawn, Matt- Believers Fellowship Greg, Tom, Brittani- Agnus Dei Aaron, TJ- Harbor Life Kenneth, Willie- Discovery Baptist Dan, Sarah- Fox Island
Blue team: Bruce, Cheryl, Kevin, Dale, Norm, Willie, Jen, Kalynda, Blake- Chapel Hill Will, Scott, Josh, Kristen- Harbor Covenant Aaron- United Methodist
